NUTRITIONAL OBESITY
Tenuate Retard 60 caps is indicated in adults and children over 12 years of age in adjuvant dietary therapy in patients with obesity with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg / m2 or more , Who have not responded to the adapted dieting alone.

Note: Short-term efficacy has not been shown to reduce weight. No significant data are available for changes in morbidity or mortality.
TENUATE DOSPAN 75 MG, COMPRESSED: Doses and durations

Posology Adult
The recommended dosage is 1 cpr per day, in combination with a low-calorie diet, preferably in the morning or before lunch. Treatment should be prescribed in combination with a low calorie diet. Treatment should be conducted under the supervision of a physician experienced in the treatment of obesity. Before any prescription of this medication, the diagnosis must have made it possible to exclude the secondary organic causes of obesity. The treatment of obesity requires comprehensive management including dietary, medical and psychotherapeutic measures. The duration of treatment is 4 to 6 weeks and should not exceed 3 months. Any appearance or worsening of exercise dyspnea should lead to suspicion of the occurrence of pulmonary hypertension. Under these circumstances, treatment should be discontinued immediately and the patient directed in specialized settings for investigations.
